How We Make a Difference

Our business model focuses on relieving pressure and easing the load off our clients shoulders. We act on their behalf as design managers overseeing the whole project across multi-disciplines and provide one point of contact that will drive the project seamlessly without the need for the confusion of whom the responsibility lies with.

Our six pillars stand on a solid foundation and the key to IINGEN‘s point of difference are:

1.  Accountability

We will be taking a leadership role in driving every project to a high standard without compromising on project cost, our professional service and our quality.

2. The same team

The same team will always be at your service. Highly technical and straight to the point. They will work closely with you, cutting the middle management layer out, Saving time and money for all in the process.

3. Partnership

We will do things in an open and transparent partnership. We don’t know everything and we rather outsource the documentation work whilst we can concentrate on providing the best service and assist in providing key technical solutions to our clients. Our partners are sub-consultants, sub-contractors, manufacturers, scientists, specialists (IT, DAS, AV) and suppliers. We don’t have to stick to what we know, but we listen to what they know and put forward our final decision that benefits all.

4. Multi-Layer Quality Assurance systems

Every project goes through an initial mind-map QA review by the entire team. This initial process sets the plan for the following QA reviews to be completed in each phase of delivery. In addition, by outsourcing documentation, we focus on project management and peer reviews on a weekly basis. This is conducted with each discipline reviewing the scope and our execution plans. In these meetings we can address compliance issues as well as providing value add through value engineering.

5. Over communication

We will make sure that we over communicate with a focus on personal phone calls on top of emails. Engineers assume a lot of things during the design phase and when they need to communicate they simply send an email. Emails get lost in translation and many don’t get resolved. This is crucial to our business hence why It is one of the main pillars.

6. Challenging the Status Quo

Every rule is written to be broken and this industry is too complacent to do that. This results in over design and added cost to the overall project. We will be challenging each label, symbol put on the drawing to make sure that it is deemed to satisfy code and standards. Utilising current and future technology trends, there are a lot of opportunities we see where we can add value without compromising on quality. This isn’t new to our team, in the last five years we have successfully challenged many aspects of codes and standards.
